If you know me, you know that I am constantly searching for cool techniques to level up my knitting and designing, and I love sharing them with you! One of my quests has always been a jogless stripe join for working in the round, and I’ve written a favorite one into my striped patterns. But the one in this pattern is new and different! Because the beginning of round marker doesn’t move for each stripe, it can be added to any striped pattern in the round without altering the math and shaping at all. And although you can see the join when you look closely, there is no obvious jog where the stripes join. As with many techniques, this one looks better and better with repetition, and my Stop! No Jogging socks are a fun way to practice!
