As the winter holidays approach I always enjoy designing something festive.

This time I was led by the yarn: I had two skeins of Miss Babs Kaweah in colorways that made me think of cranberries, poinsettias, decorated trees – and even snow (1 skein in each of 2 colors: Deep Sea Jelly Fish and White Peppercorn)

You’ll find two patterns here: one for a full-sized cowl and one for a snugger neckwarmer, and there’s plenty of yarn for both. Get in the winter holiday spirit with Something Festive!
