Inspired by the rippling shapes in Zen Gardens, the Sand Garden shawl features shimmering, sinuous stitch patterns. The shawl has a modern hap construction, starting at the base of the inner triangle and widening up to be bound off with a reverse stockinette i-cord. Stitches are picked up around the inner triangle using the yarn-overs present from triangle increases, and the mid section is worked out to the bottom edge, where a flowing knitted-on edging finishes out in rippling echoes.
