A semi circle of lace and beads, the Promises to Keep shawl is inspired by the poem “Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening” by Robert Frost. A large frost flower at the nape of the neck transitions into flakes of snow (beads and nupps) sifting down through the sky and falling on the branches of the forest below. The border edges are a trail of leaves, starting from the cast on at top, with a simple beaded bind off at the bottom edge.
