This poncho is all about colors! It uses two colors of yarn and knit primarily in stockinette with two strands of yarn held together throughout with one mosaic section as a focal point. What makes this poncho a fun knit is that sometimes two strands of the same color are held together and other times, one strand each of two different colors are held together.
The poncho is worked as a rectangle and seamed at one edge to make the neck opening. This poncho can be worn with the seam on the shoulder, at the center back or at the center front.
The mosaic pattern is best highlighted when worn with the seam at the center front.
