The Pacific Grove cowl is named for one of my favorite California Central Coast towns.
Pacific Grove is known for Monarch butterflies…and that’s the link to the name, as this cowl uses the honeybee knit stitch, which I think also looks like butterflies.
And the pebbly texture reminds me of a salt lick, which butterflies use for nutrients.
