A “Fractured Fairy Tale” is a re-telling of a popular story, often with a humorous or irreverent slant to it. The colorwork flowers of this hat design reminded me of the artwork in the fairy tale spoofs on the retro “Rocky and Bullwinkle Show”.

The negative-to-positive patterning of the pinwheel-floral design makes keeping your hands warm a little more fun this winter, and the construction of the thumb gore ensures that the mitten won’t twist towards the palm when wearing.

Finished Measurements: Sizes sm(med) measures to 8(9.25)” in circumference around the hand above the thumb. Length is approx. 10.25” cuff to tip for size med (shorter length) at the stated row gauge. Size med is shown in the photos.
