Loosely Based on the Pi Shawl principle, this semicircular shawl has different lace sections, encased with a knit in I-Cord edge.
The lace instructions are both written and charted.
The testers found it a fun quick knit. The variety in the versions we all came up with was great to see. Pick some yarns in your LYS or from your stash and make on of your own.
This shawl is knit in worsted weight yarn. It can be made in one color or as many as you like. These 3 versions show some of the versatility in how you can use your color(s). Please also see what others have used in the Ravelry projects page on Ravelry.com … The designs used ALMOST ALL OF THE YARN… so there is a chance you might be close to running out.
You can leave out a row or 2, you can weigh your yarns and estimate your needs based on your exact knitting, or be amenable to doing something like binding off in another color. You can switch colors in the middle of a row if you need to. Some of you might not like that idea though. So, your exact approach depends a bit on what kind of knitter you are and what makes you stressed or what you are okay with.
