Dreamweaver is a long, arrow shaped, rectangular stole, a scarf, a shawl, a wrap, a blanket worked in a fingering/sport weight silk fingering and a sport weight ‘fuzzy’ yarn of mohair and silk in a series of undulating textured areas, that are interspersed with the woven lace pattern. The stole shown (knit as written) measures 14” (35.5cm) wide and 90” (229cm) long, before blocking and 20” (51cm) wide and 108” (274cm) long after.
Here is your very own Dreamweaver to be whatever you want it to be and to keep you warm too! This adaptable piece changes depending on the number of repeats you cast on for and the number of pattern block repeats you work. Worked in a plain fingering/sport weight yarn and a sport weight fuzzy yarn the two yarns contrast in texture ensuring Dreamweaver is interesting to knit and a dream to wear! Of course, should you rather knit it in two fingering weights it will also look wonderful; maybe two contrasting colours or a solid and a speckle … There are so many options that Dreamweaver may be knit again and again looking different each time and it will soon become a firm favourite in your wardrobe!
