There are five shawl patterns in the collection, all based on women in Celtic myth, specifically the Mabinogion.
- Blodeuwedd – pronounciation is: blod-EYE-weth (the “eye” like your eyes; the “th” like in “the”), a three-quarter circle lace & cabled shawl in fingering weight suitable for the intermediate knitter.
- Arianrhod (pronounced ar-ree-AN-rod) a circular shawl in 3 sizes with 2 edgings, worked in lace to light fingering and suitable for the intermediate knitter.
- Rhiannon – pronunciation: Hree-AN-on (the “RH” is rolled like in Spanish “roho” but has a great deal more of the H sound in it than just R). A triangular shawl in 2 sizes in either heavy lace / 3ply or fingering weight with an optional lace border. It is suitable for the intermediate knitter.
- Branwen (pronounced BRAN-oo-wen). This sideways knit triangular shawl in fingering weight is suitable for the intermediate knitter.
- Ceridwen (pronounced ker-ID-wen), a top down a semi circular shawl in two cabled patterns finished with an i-cord edging. Worked in fingering weight, it is suitable for the experienced intermediate knitter used to working cables.
