A few friends (enablers!) asked me to create a version of the shawl that the Duchess of Cambridge wore shopping. This triangular shawl is worked from side to side with short-row ruffles worked as you go and a lovely basketweave stitch pattern that reverses at the center back, forming a pretty design focus. The short row technique used here is super easy – turn, yarnover, and knit-together. Forget those confusing wrap-and turns. You’ll be happy you tried it.
