A semi circle of petals and leaf lace, the Blooming Desert shawl incorporates the vibrant colors and patterns of the desert after the rains come. The pattern begins at the nape of the neck by casting on the edging, and continues into the top, a lovely open blossom with beads sprinkled throughout. A panel of mirrored leaves creates an organic design element before the shawl widens again. The border is open and lacy, with a beaded leaf motif.
