Mittens, hat, and scarf comprise this cozy winter set. Made primarily of a cabled rib in the round, the pieces are enhanced by a cabled medallion which proclaims one’s knitting prowess. The scarf is knitted circularly in two pieces and joined in the center. The hat brim is worked flat, then sts are picked up around the long edge for the hat top. The mittens are also worked in the round.
