I’m a knitwear designer and knitting technical editor. I have 2 pattern lines – Basix , which is simple top-down set-in sleeve patterns, and Vermont Fiber Designs , my original pattern line. Both lines feature a wide size range; most of the adult patterns go from size XXS to 5XL, 6XL, or 7XL.

I started knitting because I’m 6’ tall and I was tired of never having long enough sleeves on my sweaters; I decided to knit my own. I turned my love for knitting into a very satisfying, busy career which allows me to work from home.

When I’m not knitting, editing, or designing, I’m hiking with my dog Rory, or horseback riding. I’ve recently moved from Tennessee to North Carolina, where I live in the heart of NC horse country.
