I design knit accessories — shawls, cowls, mitts and hats. I like both simplicity in knitting and also creating interesting constructions, perfection and beauty when choosing stitches combined with logic and readability when writing a pattern. All my patterns are test knit by 4-10 test knitters, professionally tech edited, include charts and have line-by-line written instructions. Most of my patterns are easy to customize for different yarn weights and can be worked in different sizes according to included notes.
Knitting is an important part of my life, and I have other various interests. I love living Nonviolent Communication. AIso zen meditation. Once I coordinated a charitable Sight is Life project where with the help of many generous designers I collected over 35000 USD for the eye clinic in DR Congo so blind people there can see again. And most of all I love to love.
