Elizabeth Elliott

I come from a long line of fibre-obsessed women, though my gran would probably be shocked by the size of my yarn stash. In the last few years, I have taken up spinning, which fascinates my husband and confuses my cats.

My work has been published in Twist Collective, Knit Now, and various Interweave publications. My self-published patterns are available through Ravelry, where I am known as k2cuss2 or sometimes The Cusser.

I’ve been writing knitting patterns for several years. All of my patterns have been tech edited and tested or have been reviewed by two tech editors to make sure you can enjoy your knitting, rather than wrestle with the instructions. In 2014 I started including an ‘About the yarn’ section, which describes the structure and characteristics of the yarn used in the sample(s) and gives tips on what to look for in a substitute yarn.

I respect the value of your knitting time, and strive to make my patterns easy to understand and error-free.
