I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area with bridges spanning the bay defining my surroundings: the Golden Gate, the Bay Bridge, the Richmond-San Rafael, to name a few. I’m not sure what exactly it is about the tuck stitch patterns and geometric lace in this shawl that made me think of the bridges of my childhood, but I began calling it Bridges before I realized it, and then I couldn’t call it anything else. Knitted from 3 colors, this shawl has a relaxing rhythm to it, and every new colorway I see looks completely different from the preceding ones! As a bonus, moat of the ends are used in fringe and not woven in!
