Aqualicious is a top down, crescent shaped shawl with an all over lace design. Size 6 seed beads lurk among the vertical, frond-like, patterning creating a flow evocative of an underwater garden that seamlessly merges into an intricate (but simple to knit) beaded lace border that any Mermaid would feel was created especially for them.

Designed to be worked in a heavy lace weight yarn, the original was knit in Lichtfaden Rei Lace, 625m/100g containing mohair and silk which gives fabulous texture (though it could be knit in almost any weight).
