The name of this pattern is a nod to my unapologetic love for fun colors, particularly bright pink! Sorrynotsorry! It is designed in saturated sari-like colors to make a statement piece for your wardrobe.
“Sari, not Sari” was designed in Hedgehog Cashmere Merino. You can buy a kit in one of three color combinations (pictured at left) from Kitterly. It is listed as a “lace” yarn but knits up more like a fingering on a US6/4mm needle. It is so soft and beautiful!
The wrap can also be made in any fingering/sock weight yarn. Directions are given for making it wider and longer if you use a yarn with more yardage than the 328 yards of the Hedgehog Cashmere Merino. There is also a schematic to download separately that you can use to try different color combinations with markers or colored pencils.
Shape
This is a rectangle knit on the bias (which makes it a parallelogram.) Stitch counts remain the same in every row.
